What is happening with me right now??
I have to be able to run 3 Half Marathons, through the sand, back to back in 55 days and I can't seem to get motivated to train!
My training thus far as consisted of 3 miles one day as my "long" run, 2 miles the day after and 2.8 miles the day after that...that's it... And I've only done that twice.
And then Lent started on 2/22/23 which means I've only been at it for 9 days and that's a long way from 40 days. One of my Lenten promises is to eat clean. I can only eat things that can be grown or killed. No processed foods, no sweets, no alcohol...and I'm not happy!
As I was teaching Pilates class yesterday, do you know what I was thinking about as we were doing "inch worms"? Crumbl cookies!!!
Here I am trying to motivate my class to be healthy, make healthy choices, do good things for our bodies and I want a cookie so bad I can't stand it...
I am usually the one doing the motivating and holding people accountable, but the roles have reversed and now I have clients holding me accountable to my training runs.
And, I have to admit, it's kinda nice to have people out there who want me to succeed and understand that at some point in everyone's life, we need other people to pull us through and motivate us!
