Some Of My Favorite Things

My Birthday Gift to You! 
I just celebrated my birthday on Friday and I often get asked how I'm going to celebrate.  I LOVE birthdays and I like to fill mine with things that bring me HAPPINESS and JOY!
Here are a few of my favorite things:

• Games - all games - outside, inside, doesn't matter.  I love games
  
• Sunrises and Sunsets equally
  
• Big, and small, adventures
  
• Surprises - LOVE surprises!
  
• The feel of a soft, warm animal in my lap or beside me
  
• DUCKS - big, white, plump, noisy, messy, opinionated white farm ducks.  Mine is named Mr. Edith (it's hard to tell the sex of a duck when they're ducklings...)
  
• Water: rivers, lakes, oceans, creeks, doesn't matter!
  
• MOUNTAINS and trails
  
• Escape to the woods when I start to feel a little sideways...
  
• Sitting outside with the warm sun on my face especially after I've finished my To Do list or a good run/workout.  It's my reward.
  
• Kind, patient, positive people
  
• Homebaked goods, especially pastries!
  
• FIRES - inside or outside!
  
• Good food and good drink
  
• Flowers
  
• Soaking up good stories and life lessons from those who've come before me
  
• Hope, Faith, and Prayers
